McDonald's Global Hiring Tech Shop

McDonald's wants its franchisees to succeed, and part of success is hiring a qualified workforce. To showcase state-of-the-art hiring practices and tools, McDonald's holds a conference for its store operators; in 2020 the technology and design arms of my employer, AMS, was hired to create the Global Hiring Tech Shop, a one-stop-shop for a diverse range of tech products and integrations the franchisees could leverage during their hiring processes.

As a designer for AMS' Employer Brand & Marketing department, I created an interactive app that could run on a kiosk during the conference, with the idea that attendees could be introduced to the Global Hiring Tech Shop and its products without having to rely on a host at the booth. The kiosk's interface included introductory animations and custom-made iconography, and required me to learn new software suited for the touch-enabled display McDonald's had purchased for the booth. I also created promotional videos for the products that featured actual franchise owners and eye-catching motion graphics.

Unfortunately the pandemic hit and the conference was cancelled. Pivoting, our team created a website to feature the products and their videos. I was tasked with page design and collateral creation for the microsite.
